Road Safety Petition

Our petition for a pelican crossing to help pedestrians cross the road safely outside the chapel achieved the splendid total of 667 signatures.

We are most grateful to the Post Office, the Co-op, the Library and Dolly’s, as well as our friends at St Cuthbert’s for helping us with the collection of signatures.

The petition was handed to our County Councillor, Dr Kevin Feltham on 27 September in the presence of Harborough MP, Neil O’Brien by our minister, Rev Derek McLean aided and abetted by our Senior Steward, June Murray and Rev Gordon Webb.

Cllr. Feltham has promised to keep us apprised of developments.
